Student Accounts and Resources
Upon admission to the College, WGTC assigns each student a nine-digit identification number (900#) and a student email address that will be used throughout their enrollment. The identification number serves to replace the student’s Social Security number, ensuring the protection of personal identifying information in student records.
The student email address, formatted like jsmith5000@student.westgatech.edu, is the primary means of communication for important events, announcements, deadlines, financial aid information, registration, and more. This email address is essential for setting up Okta, a true single sign-on system that provides access to Email, Knighthawk Navigator-Banner, and Blackboard.
