The Advanced Pharmacy Technology Certificate is designed to provide an individual with the entry level skills for success in a retail pharmacy and hospital settings. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skill required as a retail or hospital Pharmacy Technician. Graduates are prepared to function and perform basic skills expected for a retail or hospital Pharmacy Technician. Skills will include gathering, preparing, inputting, performing sterile manipulations and other requirements according to a prescription or medication order under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
